Here's our little girl - see if you can guess her name.
I'll venture to say this may have been the mid-late 00's.  My brother in law George was kind enough to take her out skiing at Poley Mountain here in NB a lot in those days.  He even bought her skiing apparel, lessons, the whole nine yards.  I'll always be super grateful to George and my sister Cindy for taking her in and showing her things in life that we would never be able to afford to give her.
I fondly remember Alexandra being picked up by George at the house to bring her out to Poley Mountain for the day, and we would go and pick her up when they were done.  Watching our daughter skiing down those hills sometimes brought tears to my eyes... actually the thought of it is doing that right now.  I've got video somewhere, where we arrived at Poley and we witnessed her coming down a hill with all kinds of grace and style, with Uncle George close behind.  I thought at that time, "our little girl isn't really that little anymore."  On the video we recorded, which we taped from inside the building, there was a group called The Fray with a song called "How to Save a Life" playing on the P.A.  Now whenever I hear that I think of this.  Damn it, I'm blubbering right now just thinking of it all.
Times have changed so much since then.
