Ah, my good buddy Pete.  A good way to kick off this picture blog.
Not entirely sure about the date of this.... same with most pictures you're going to see here.
I think it's around the turn of the millenium, perhaps handy to his birthday at the time.
I remember the apartment he and his lovely wife Doriane were living in at the time.  It was a pretty welcoming place.  But then again, any place Pete and Doriane are in is a welcoming dwelling.
I think right around this time, Pete and I had a band called YQM, in which we were recording a CD with the help of a guy named Chris Goguen, which will show up in a picture or two or more in the near future.  Pete recorded some guitar parts at this apartment with a Fender amp and Chris's digital recording gear.  Chris went on to be in a band called Sol, I believe, that found some success regionally.  Chris took courses in how to produce in a recording studio, and I think we were one of his first endeavours.  We might have done better if Chris had been more experienced, but he did a great job with us sonically.  Though looking back, we all would do a hell of a lot more tweaking with our CD.  We sold quite a few copies locally, and even a handful in Texas.  We had quite a bit of fun doing it.  I'd love to do it again.  We may, under a different name, and probably just between Pete and myself, but anything is possible.  In the I'm-too-hard-on-myself department, I'm not sure I'm actually good enough to participate, though.
